I've been wanting to take some pictures of myself for a little photo journal of my physical transformation from CrossFit; but I'm not exactly comfortable posing in front of a camera for just anyone. So I've been putting it off; until today. My cousin happened to be over, so I armed her with my camera and we had a little photo shoot. The intention was to just have visual proof that all the hard work has been paying off. Little did I know seeing myself would light such a fire under my ass! I'm really pleased with the results so far, but I want more! Seeing pictures of myself was just the motivation I needed to push beyond the self doubt make the most out of every WOD!

I considered scaling down to 45# for the cleans, and squats but after my photo induced epiphany I decided to lift more!

nice job jenelle... you have done so well the past few nights... i'm excited to see your progress! (and i'm happy to pull the band down for you... but i'm not gonna do it forever, so you better get those kips fast!)
thanks Lindsay! I know...I need to stick around after a WOD and work on those, but not after a beating like tonight. My arm's are angry with me.
