holiday hang over

This past holiday weekend; was the most mellow Labor Day, possibly EVER . I am usually raging on a boat somewhere in the middle of Lake Havasu or floating and playing horse shoes on the shores of the Colorado river. Well since I've been unemployed, every day is like a holiday for me. So the overwhelming desire to get out of dodge just wasn't present this past weekend. Instead I stayed home and hung out with my BFF and family. I did a pretty good job eating healthy all weekend, and Friday night I managed to refrain from drinking. My body was so worn out from the day's WOD I knew it would revolt if I consumed anything alcoholic. For some reason, I woke up Saturday ready to celebrate! Just because I don't have a job doesn't mean I can't enjoy "Labor Day", right? I ended up drinking Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I don't want to alarm anyone with my weekend drinking stats, so we'll just end this will me acknowledging that drinking is the #1 WORST thing you can do to your body while training.
