Don't spill your drink!

I was feeling extremely motivated on Friday and decided to do the WOD that I missed on Wednesday, at home.

Not only did I do the WOD at home; I also went to the gym! ..I told you I was feeling motivated..
When I arrived at the gym, Chris was shooting video of Jason Khalipa. I didn't realize until after I jumped on the CrossFit Costa Mesa site that Jason is the 2008 CrossFit Games Champion.

WOD:
Back squat 5RM @97#
Press 5RM @48#
Deadlift 5RM @117#

Since I hadn't established my back squat 1 rep max. I worked on that instead of my 5 rep max. I tried to lift the weight the other girls were lifting, but I wasn't able to so I had to scale down. Lindsay was a trooper and helped me every time I failed to lift out of the squat. Even though Chris showed us how to 'properly' fail she was right behind me to grab the bar. Thanks Lindz! During the WOD Lindsay worked with the three girls while Chris worked with all the guys. However, he did manage to share a tip with me to keep my chest up during my deadlifts. "Imagine you have a table on your chest, and a there's a drink on the table....Don't spill your drink.." I'm pretty sure there was a little bit more information in between all that. But 'don't spill your drink' is what drove the message home. LOL!
