leg annihilation

Monday's work out didn't look all that bad on the board; but at about round three I thought my legs were going to fail on me. Oh, and the barbell warm up was just mean. My shoulders were killing me Tuesday morning.

Barbell Warm-up:
snatch deadlift
hang muscle snatch
OH squat
zots press
snatch balance (pressing)
snatch balance
Jake went through this warm out with us and was crying along with us. It's nice to see the trainers get a little sweaty and suffer sometimes.

WOD:
5 rounds of 2 reps:
power snatch at 55#
5 rounds for time:
10 squat cleans
10 OH lunge steps @35#
10 thrusters @35#
my time: 18:45

Granted this workout was pretty tough, but for some reason I felt overly fatigued during the workout. Almost as though I was on the brink being sick.
After the WOD I stuck around a to get a peak at the Pro Team workout. I am curious to see how the WOD's differ from what the classes consist of. However, by the time they got all warmed up and ready to start, my stomach was digesting itself I was so hungry. So I went home and cooked up a filet mignon with mashed sweet potatoes and steamed green beans. It was delicious.

Paleo Diet Update:
I've been really good eating Paleo when I am at home, and I am able to cook. However when I'm out or over at friends house its difficult to stick to the strict diet.  Friday I had Yard House, and Saturday I had pizza and cake. I weighed myself the other day and I'm down to 129 pounds, so I feel like I'm entitled to a cheat day or two..lol!
