After talking to a few of my fellow on-board friends, I'm relieved I didn't make it to class on Saturday. The workout sounded brutal. I know, I should embrace the challenge..but it was too hot on Saturday to be running. One of the girls completed the work out in 59 minutes. That's a long ass workout!
Today we warmed up with a 200 meter run, 10 air squats, 10 front squats and 10 overhead squats. We drilled Cleans and Snatch's with the PVC tubes. Then Alec created a custom workout for us today.
WOD:
start and finish with 5 burpees
30/20/10
Wall Balls
Double ups or 2x singles
Sumo Dead Lift High Pulls with 32 pound kettle bell
Jumping Lunges
I finished in 18:40
After we all finished the WOD, Alec discussed the Zone and Paleo diets. He recommended some websites for reference and a few places to get high quality meats and vegetables. Now if I only had a chef to cook for me every night. Don't get me wrong I love to cook, but after a workout like tonight the last thing I want to do is cook!
