Last night's hot/cold shower tremendously reduced the magnitude of today's soreness and pain! Thank the lord baby Jesus in his manger! I don't think I could have made it through tonight's WOD otherwise..
Alec was not able to make it to tonight's class so Lindsay took over. I really like her!
We started our warm up with a quick 200 meter jog, air squats and hip mobility. Then we moved to some 'squat cleans' drills. I have zero flexibility in my shoulders, so I'm not able to get my elbows up all the way in the proper position. Lindsay assured me I'll be able to eventually, and to just keep trying. Once we all 'mastered' the movement of the 'squat cleans' we moved on to the WOD.

I completed all 3 sets in 14:14.
Lindsay let the girls use the lighter kettle bells, I think I was using the 32 pounds. Since most of us are not able to do a pull up yet, she let us do either a jump pull up or use the bands.
I brought my phone with me tonight so I could get a few pictures to share..
This is the thunder dome, its only empty because the next class hasn't started yet.
This is where we did our WOD. That's Lindsay in the blue top and fellow on-boarder's using the foam rollers.
Tonight's dinner: Blackened fish tacos and baja rolls from Wahoos.. I didn't feel like cooking.
Alright..well I'm off to the beach for a moon lit stroll with the mutt!
He keeps staring at me: Mom, get off the damn computer and pay attention to ME!
